In my earlier post calling out for Nigeria Apps: Nigeria, where are your Android Apps, I urged 9ja to come out. Wellllll, Not bad. The finalists contain 28 Android apps which cut across the 3 categories mentioned above and Nigeria had 5 Apps that made it to the Finals (17.86%). Kenya had 7, South Africa 8, Ghana 3 and others shared the rest count. Check the official page for details.

Six more weeks to get the best out of their Apps and claim the coverted 25,000 USD.

  • August 30th: Finalist applications are due at 11:59 PM GMT.
  • September 12th: Winners are announced.
